vdR Group Speaking at Aras Community Event (ACE) on Extending Aras Innovator into the Quoting and Sales Cycle

The presentation subject topic will be “Extending Aras Innovator into the Quoting and Sales Cycle”, scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 3:10 PM, EST.

The Aras Community Event (ACE) is Aras’ annual premier event that brings together industry and technology leaders to connect and collaborate on strategies addressing the growing complexity in global product development, systems engineering, manufacturing, quality, and the supply chain.  Industries represented will include automotive, aerospace & defense, high tech electronics, industrial, and medical device manufacturing.

vdR will be presenting strategies and an Aras-based solution that can overcome the many quoting-related inefficiencies that challenge engineering-focused manufacturers, such as build-to-order (BTO) and engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturers as well as automotive suppliers. Often, these industries require significant design and innovation during the pre-award and sales activities which can represent a combination of released and “yet to be designed” parts. 

vdR will demonstrate how Aras’ new “options and variants” capabilities can be used to accelerate pre-award bill-of-material development, establish place-holder parts and/or assemblies, activate workflow routings based on customer and product types, and produce quotes leveraging Aras’ technical documentation module.
